Last night I made some raspberry whipped cream & spread it on a white cake instead of frosting. It was so good. We had lots left over & I think it'd be really tasty on waffles or pancakes. Yum!
Here are a few varieties of flavored whipped cream:
Vanilla Cream
3 C. cream
5 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Lemon Cream
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp lemon zest
3 c. cream
Berry Cream
2 1/4 c. berries, purreed & strained
1/4 c. sugar
3 c. cream
Orange Cream
3 c. cream
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp orange zest
Chocolate cream
3 c. cream
1/3 sugar
1/4 c. cocoa powder
Whip ingredients together with an electric mixer until thick. Let refrigerate about 1 hour before serving. Whisk briefly before serving.
