Do you need a last minute Christmas gift for a stocking, or for friends or neighbors? I have the perfect thing for you! They are simple and sweet and they show people that you care!
It only requires a few simple ingredients:
Mini Candy Canes
Chocolate for melting (white, milk or semi-sweet will do)
Lolli-pop Sticks
Sprinkles
Mint Baking Chips
Place the candy canes together in pairs making them into heart shapes on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper of a silicone baking mat.
Bake in an oven preheated to 250 degrees for 8-10 minutes- until slightly melted and sticky. Quickly put the sticks into the bottom end of the heart and press together lightly. It is ok if they don't stay together perfectly. The chocolate will hold it all together.
While the candy canes are baking, melt the chocolate in the microwave. Spoon in a small amount once the sticks have been placed in. Decorate as desired with mint chips and sprinkles. Let them cool completely before removing them from the tray.
