Pizookie Perfection

(a pizza cookie)

I have heard about this little delicious treat from a few different people and decided to give it a try this weekend.  I am not sorry at all about that decision.  You won't be either.  You know how when you make chocolate chip cookies and they are a little undercooked, they are all gooey and amazing when still hot?  Well, take that, and add some ice cream and hot fudge, caramel sauce, whipped cream...  get it?

That is a Pizookie.  Called thus because you bake the cookie in a pie pan- or deep dish pizza pan, or in my case, little ramekin dishes.  Perfect individual portions.

Want to try them?  Make your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe (I prefer the Nestle Toll House one- with an extra tsp of vanilla)  Press dough into ramekin dishes, or into a pie tin if you want to share with a crowd.  Bake @ 350 for about 12 minutes- until the edges are golden, but the middle is still slightly doughy.  While hot, top with ice cream and toppings.

Devour.
