What Makes You Say Mmmmm? Linky- & Creamy Chicken Italiano

Welcome back to another What Makes You Say Mmmmm? Monday Linky.  I was excited to see so many amazing entries last week.  You guys are all incredible!  Thanks for sharing your talents with me & all of my readers!

Before we go on to the linky, I want to share a little story & recipe with you.  To just keep it simple, it's been a rough week here- with lots of sick kids.  Yesterday, I had to be at church early & my husband was staying home with 2 sick kids.  I hadn't eaten all day & came home to a delicious smelling meal cooked in the crock pot.  I was thrilled!  My husband DOES NOT cook.  Ever. So, this was a big sacrifice for him & a huge blessing to me.

I have a cookbook, that I love called Fix It and Forget It.  It's a crock pot recipe book.  So, he pulled that out and searched through it to find something that we had the ingredients for, and found all of the ingredients in our kitchen (that alone was amazing to me!) and made it all.  It's a simple recipe, and it was delicious.  I was truly impressed.

Here is the recipe that made my day yesterday:

Creamy Italiano Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken-breast halves
1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 c. water
8 oz. pkg cream cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup

Place chicken in the crockpot.  Combine the salad dressing and water and pour over the chicken.  Cook on low for 3 hours.

Combine cream cheese and soup and mix until blended.  Pour over and cook an additional hour on low.

Serve over rice or noodles.

Now, that being said... I want to share some of the amazing links from last week.

The clickiest link was from Farm Girl Recipes-  Her Rolo cookies look incredible don't they?  I don't blame everyone for clicking on it!!  Plus, she takes suh incredible pictures.  It makes my mouth water just looking at it.

The Kentucky Black Bottom Pie from Recipe Swagger was also very popular this week.  Wow!  Doesn't that look incredible?

I LOVED these edible ornaments from Red Ted Art's Blog.  This would be such a fun project to do with my kids over the holidays.

Guess there is a dessert theme going on.  It is the season, right?

So, let's get linking.  Be sure to stop by and visit some of the other amazing things that others are linking up as well.  And, please grab my button or link to put in your post.  Have fun!

Thank you for the invite!!! Glad to find your site and I look forward to following you. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I linked up Chicken and Dumplings. I have made a similar recipe to the one you are featuring but with a pork loin instead of chicken and a packet of ranch dressing instead of Italian. I'm going to give your version a try!
This looks delicious! I'm over visiting from the Susie QT link party.
