Broiled Cinnamon-Sugar Grapefruit

I don't normally love grapefruit.  I grew up in Florida & actually had a pink grapefruit tree in my backyard, but was never particularly fond of them- unless they are completely DOUSED with sugar!
Last week I received 2 white grapefruit in my Bountiful Basket.  So, I decided to try something new.  It was surprisingly tasty!  I think I could eat it again, in fact...that says a lot from me!  My husband & kids all enjoyed it as well.  If you enjoy grapefruit, you should definitely try this one! It is simple, too- takes just 4 minutes to cook.

1 Grapefruit
1 tsp butter
sprinkle of cinnamon & sugar- about 1 Tbsp

Turn oven on to broil setting. Slice grapefruit in half, remove the white center & slice between the sections. Put into a ramekin dish.  Place the butter on top & sprinkle some cinnamon & sugar.  Broil for 3-4 minutes.   Eat with a spoon. It will be warm & juicy!
