Dairy-Free Hot Chocolate
More and more people seem to be having trouble with dairy lately. Several people in my family cannot eat dairy. How sad to be able to miss out on such a yummy winter treat. Replacing the milk with almond milk in hot chocolate is a delicious and healthy way to be able to still enjoy this tasty drink. Plus, a little dash of cinnamon gives it such a unique taste.

Diary-Free Hot Chocolate

4 cups of Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1 oz. square of unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
dash of salt

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla. Whisk together in a medium size pot. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring regularly to melt the chocolate. Remove from heat and add in vanilla.

Serve hot with marshmallows or whipped cream in your favorite mug. Isn't that snowman cute?
What is your favorite thing to make with almond milk?
