Swiss Potatoes A Gratin

This recipe is a family favorite,  It was one of my Grandma's recipes. She was an amazing chef. She actually studied in France. I am lucky to have some of her recipes!


6 Tbsp butter
3 lbs potatoes, peeled & sliced thin
2 c. grated swiss cheese
1 ¼ c. chicken broth
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Bake at 400 degrees in a casserole dish for about 60-70 minutes. Let stand 5-10 min. before serving to thicken.
