Touchdown Taco Dip

Print Friendly and PDF  This is a Pampered Chef recipe that I love.  It is a variation on the 7-layer dip, but much tastier in my opinion.  The cream cheese adds a lot, plus I love that it is hot & melty.  Yum! 



1 can bean dip (or refried beans)
4 oz cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp taco seasoning
1 clove pressed garlic
1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tomato diced
1 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 c. sliced olives
1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Tortilla chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread beans in bottom of small pan-I just use a square one. In bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, & garlic. Mix well. Spread over beans. Grate cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes. After cheese is melted & bubbly, pull out of oven & top with tomatoes, olives, cilantro & green onions. Serve with tortilla chips.
