Lemon Vinaigrette Green Beans

2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1/3 c. olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1 clove minced garlic
Fresh steamed green beans

Mix dressing ingredients. It will be way more than you'll use on your green beans, so put it into a container that you can use to store it in the fridge for later. Cook your green beans & put into a bowl. Toss with a few tablespoons of the dressing.


I made this for dinner tonight & they were really good. I got this recipe from the TV show on PBS called Every Day Food, by Martha Stewart. I have started Tivo-ing (is that really a word) this show cause I love so many of the recipes. Check it out. Their website has all the recipes from the episodes, too.
