Chicken Crescent Rolls

Got this recipe from my sister a long time ago. They are really good. May want to change a few things to make them healthier. (Use low-fat crescent rolls- or your own bread dough recipe, low-fat cream cheese, less butter, W.W. bread crumbs, mixed w/ ground flax)

2 (8 oz) cans crescent rolls.
Bread brumbs
6 oz cream cheese
4 Tbsp butter
4c. cooked chicken
½ c. chopped broccoli
salt & pepper
4 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp finely minced onions

Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add chicken, broccoli, milk, onions, & seasonings. Unroll crescent rolls and leave to rolls attached to form a square pressing together the seam. Spoon mixture onto center of dough. Pinch all sides together. Dip into melted butter and then cover in bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. Can be frozen and cooked later, or reheated.

Yummy, They're called Chicken Squares around these parts! A friend from college shared this with us and we LOVE them!
