This past week I tried a lot of new recipes. Can't wait to share them all with you. I made a delicious Blueberry Applesauce loaf- a quick bread. It's a fairly healthy one, too. Since it is made with applesauce, there was very little fat in it. (Did you know that you can substitute applesauce for fat in baking?) I especially liked the cinnamon-sugar topping on it. Yum!
The other one I tried that I am going to give you this week is the Cuban braised beef. This was so good. I don't love a lot of meats, but this one was a great recipe. It's made with a flank steak & was super easy. My family really liked it, too. There was not any left over.
